Yospace lands Court TV DAI contract after Law&Crime takeover
Telecom Gazette, October 13, 2026
Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) specialist Yospace has signed a contract with Court TV to power the monetisation of the US network's ad-supported streaming TV service. The deal, announced on October 13, 2026, follows Court TV's acquisition by Law&Crime Network in February 2026.
Under the agreement, Court TV will deploy Yospace's server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology to deliver programmatic, one-to-one addressable advertising across its streaming service.
What has been deployed?
Yospace's platform was integrated into Court TV's streaming TV service in just five weeks, according to the vendor. The deployment spans Court TV's full streaming footprint, including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV and other connected TV platforms.
The technology works by inserting targeted advertising into live and on-demand streams at the server side, rather than in the client player. This allows the same ad inventory to be monetised across every platform without requiring per-device ad integration.
Yospace's solution also incorporates dynamic prefetch technology, designed to ensure that Ad Decisioning Services have sufficient time to fill all ad requests and achieve maximum value for each spot.
Commercial context
Court TV was acquired by Law&Crime Network — a leading multi-platform destination for true-crime and legal content in the US — in February 2026. The streaming service continues to operate under the Court TV brand, delivering coverage of high-profile US trials alongside investigative and documentary programming.
Stuart Barnes, VP International Sales at Yospace, described the deal as "a significant win" in the competitive SSAI market.
Debasish Mishra, Chief Technology Officer for Law & Crime Network, said the integration had "exceeded expectations" in terms of both speed and monetisation performance.
What it means for the broader market
The deal is notable for the speed of deployment. Five weeks from contract signing to full launch is considerably faster than the typical integration timeline for large-scale SSAI deployments, which often run to several months.
It also highlights the growing importance of DAI in the US streaming market, where ad-supported tiers have become a central part of the business model for most major platforms.
